It comes as reports surface that the Portuguese forward is having behind-the-scenes issues with one of his teammates.

Rangnick has been busy putting together his coaching team, but it now appears that two coaches hired under the previous system may be on their way out.

And Peter Schmeichel, a Manchester United icon, has revealed the Premier League opponent that his former boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, was “terrified” of.

Sir Alex, the opponent, was “terrified” of

Peter Schmeichel has revealed who his former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, was “terrified of” in the Premier League.

Sir Alex Ferguson was, of course, a terrifying person whose legendary Manchester United teams terrified many opponents.

Ferguson, though, was “terrified” of only one player, according to his former goalie Schmeichel.

Ferguson was reported to be so terrified of the former Liverpool star that he’d change his tactics to make sure he was being tracked whenever the two sides clashed.

Mason Greenwood, a United youngster, is believed to be growing upset with Cristiano Ronaldo’s influence at the club.

Greenwood has spent more time on the bench since Ronaldo’s arrival at Old Trafford last summer, with El Nacional saying that he is “upset” that Ronaldo is usually the first name on the team sheet while he only gets limited game time.

And this isn’t the first time the two Manchester United teammates have been rumored to be feuding.

Coaches are expected to depart.

Martyn Pert and Kieran McKenna could be on their way out of Manchester United to take on a new challenge together.

McKenna began his United career as an under-18s coach before becoming an assistant manager under Jose Mourinho in 2018.

Pert joined the club in 2019 as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s assistant, but the pair may possibly be on their way out.

McKenna has been given permission to talk about taking his first management job, and he is expected to bring United colleague Pert with him.

If the two decide now is the best time to move on, it may give new coach Ralf Rangnick greater leeway in bringing in his own team.
