Ronaldo, who has 15 goals in all competitions this season, rejoined United in August after leaving Juventus in Italy.

Following the signings of Raphael Varane from Real Madrid and long-term goal Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, his return to Old Trafford concluded a fantastic transfer window for United and their followers.

Ronaldo’s return to the club was the cherry on top for United and its fans, but other voices have subsequently indicated that the Portuguese star has hampered the Reds’ success this season, with some claiming Sancho has been among those who have suffered as a result.

However, the England international has dismissed those claims, emphasizing how important Ronaldo has been this season.

Sancho told BBC Sport, “It’s fantastic to play next to someone who people call the GOAT, so it’s honestly kind of weird.” “I was taken aback when he initially walked into the dressing room; I couldn’t believe I’d be playing alongside him.

“It’s terrific to have him around; he’s a tremendous player and a great man. He is always striving to win, and for the younger players, he is always willing to assist us in learning new skills by advising us what to do and how to do things to improve our performance.

“I appreciate it a lot, and he’s just a terrific man in general.”

Ronaldo, of course, is regarded as one of the best players of all time, and he has provided United with a plethora of experience and wisdom this season.

Sancho went on to say what the 37-year-old has taught him and his peers: “The movement of how to defeat a player, how to be in the proper positions when the midfield has the ball, and so on.

“Because he has been in the game for so long and has that experience of how to beat players and know where to be at the proper time, such as when a ball is being delivered, he can assist with just being aware of what is going on.

“He’s just a conjurer.”
