Thomas Tuchel makes decision on leaving Chelsea as Man Utd show interest

According to rumors, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has no plans to leave Stamford Bridge following the sanctions imposed on owner Roman Abramovich. Abramovich’s assets have been blocked, which has serious ramifications for Chelsea. Tuchel, on the other hand, is adamant about keeping his job as head coach.

The UK Government confirmed on Thursday morning that Abramovich’s assets had been frozen.

Chelsea is no longer able to sell tickets or products, and they are unable to give new contracts to current players or complete moves.

The sale of Chelsea by Abramovich has also been put on hold for the time being.

The Russian put the club up for sale last week, and there has already been a lot of interest.

However, the UK Government has intervened due to the 55-year-purported old’s contacts with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Despite the turmoil at Stamford Bridge, their present manager appears to be staying.

According to the Telegraph, up to six teams have expressed interest in Tuchel, with Manchester United being one of them.

But the former PSG manager is content in west London and has no plans to leave.

United is still looking for a permanent manager to replace interim Ralf Rangnick this summer.

Tuchel, though, does not appear to be available to the Old Trafford club.

According to the Telegraph, the 48-year-old ‘enjoys’ working for Chelsea.

However, depending on who the new owners are once the transaction is completed, he may eventually consider his future.

And he believes United should make a bid for him.

Carragher stated: “Manchester United has been given an excellent opportunity to hire the manager who should be their top priority: Thomas Tuchel.

“Since the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, all roads have led to Mauricio Pochettino. [Mauricio] Pochettino will be available soon after Paris St-latest Germain’s Champions League loss.

“However, he may have stiffer competition for the United post than he anticipated.”
