Manchester United report: PSG to sign Marcus Rashford in the summer
Marcus Rashford of Manchester United is expected to join Ligue 1 heavyweights PSG in the summer.
That’s the rumor going around, with the Daily Mail saying that the England hero is a target in the increasingly likely case that Kylian Mbappe leaves Paris this summer.
Rashford has been with United since he was a toddler and is a lifelong supporter of the club. Having struggled this season, the forward may be ready to leave Manchester for greener pastures – and there are rumors that he’s been dissatisfied with the treatment of close buddy Jesse Lingard, following his teammate’s bungled loan move to Newcastle.
Following Mbappe’s likely departure to Real Madrid, PSG is on the lookout for a new superstar. Rashford is one name on their list, but Rashford’s colleague Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as Erling Haaland, are also thought to be targeted.
Rashford was also a target for Barcelona at one point and reportedly agreed to a move there. Despite his strong attachment to the Red Devils, the 24-year-old has previously indicated a desire to play abroad.
Under Louis van Gaal, the attacker made his debut in 2015.
