Manchester United make contact over Aurelien Tchouameni but face stiff opposition
According to credible sources in France, Manchester United is interested in signing Aurélien Tchouameni, a very skilled French holding midfielder.
United is looking for a world-class defensive midfielder, which is a poorly kept secret.
The club’s only specialist in that area is Nemanja Matic, who is 33 years old and has lost a yard of pace since his peak.
Tchouameni is already a seasoned international for the World Champions, and at 22 years old, he is one of the world’s most promising young players.
