Manchester United’s misfit Liverpool legend John Barnes believes Jesse Lingard should join West Ham this summer.
According to ex-England great John Barnes, Jesse Lingard should leave Manchester United in the summer and resurrect his career at former loan club West Ham.
Lingard has only started two games for United this season and sought a loan move away from Old Trafford during the January transfer window.
Lingard remains in Manchester despite interest from the Hammers, Newcastle United, and Everton, with the Premier League giants thwarting his attempts to move.
Lingard’s contract is up in the summer, therefore he’ll be looking for a new club, and Liverpool veteran Barnes believes a return to West Ham is the ‘natural option.’
