According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United and Bruno Fernandes have agreed on a new five-year contract.

Romano, who reported on Thursday that there had been a “breakthrough” in talks, delivered an update on Saturday morning.
He stated that the new deal will be “valid for the next five years,” that Fernandes has “already accepted” the idea, tweeting:
“Bruno Fernandes’ new deal with Manchester United is for five years.” Bruno has already accepted; now it’s only a matter of completing the papers and signing. As previously announced, an agreement has been reached.”

Even if the Red Devils’ season hasn’t been noteworthy, Fernandes has stood out on an individual level. The 27-year-old has scored 23 goals in 37 outings and is the club’s best-rated Premier League performer among players who have made two or more appearances. [WhoScored]
