Michael Oliver has been named as the referee for this weekend’s Manchester derby.

Manchester United will go across town to play Manchester City on Sunday, hoping to get back on track after being held to a goalless draw by Watford on Saturday.

While United has more than a week to prepare for the game, City must first deal with their FA Cup fourth-round meeting against Championship side Peterborough United on Tuesday before turning their attention to the derby.

When the teams met at Old Trafford in November, City humiliated their hated rivals and should have won by far more than two goals.

Oliver was the man in the center on that day, and he’ll be there again on Sunday after being given the match.

The linesmen will be Simon Bennett and Scott Ledger, the fourth official will be Andy Madley, and the VAR official will be Stuart Atwell.
