Surprise candidate emerges as potential new Man United manager

Manchester United is said to have a shortlist of managerial prospects and will evaluate them based on their own criteria.

United is looking for a permanent manager because current manager Ralf Rangnick was only employed on an interim basis until the end of the season.

According to ESPN, no managerial candidate is currently being considered, with the Glazer family and CEO Richard Arnold both adamant about taking their time in a lengthy process.

It is known that they will consider candidates’ skills, limitations, playing styles, players they may require, and, finally, what it would take to persuade them to take the job.

The Glazers are thought to be wary of making the same mistakes they did when they failed to truly or successfully replace Sir Alex Ferguson.

The top prospects are Mauricio Pochettino of PSG, Erik ten Hag of Ajax, and Luis Enrique of Spain, according to reports.

Inter Milan’s Simone Inzaghi is the surprise contender, while Bayern Munich’s Julian Nagelsmann is an underdog due to the likelihood that he will leave Germany.

Brendan Rodgers, although having admirers at Manchester United, is likely out of the running due to his terrible form with Leicester City this season.

Compensation fees, pay expectations, and transfer needs of each candidate will be considered when determining who is employed.

Fans will be disappointed to hear this since they believe the club should do everything possible to recruit the best candidate possible rather than choose only one who is the cheapest overall.

Supporters have already stated that they are willing for Rangnick to remain his job for a longer period of time if it means making the proper hire in the end.

Having said that, supporters have been pressing for the German leader to have a say in who is hired since they believe his expertise should be trusted, and it’s been stated in the past that he favors Ten Hag more than anybody else.
