The Premier League 2 Division 1 match between West Ham United U23s and Manchester United has been rescheduled.
The youthful Irons were due to play the Red Devils at Old Trafford on Friday 4 February 2022, but the match has been rescheduled when Manchester United’s first team was drawn to play at home in the Emirates FA Cup.
West Ham United U23s will now face Manchester United U23s at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday 5 February, with a 1pm kick-off.
The U23s’ journey to Manchester sets off a hectic February schedule for the development side, which will host Swansea City in the Premier League Cup before traveling to Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers in Premier League 2 before the end of the month.
The Hammers are now second in Premier League 2 Division 1 with 35 points, one point behind Manchester City, who have played one more game than the Irons.
