Onana and Heaton are the goalkeepers.

After the departures of David de Gea and Nathan Bishop, Ten Hag has a significantly different goalkeeper’s union at his disposal this season.

Andre Onana is United’s new first-choice goalkeeper, with Tom Heaton set to be his backup as Dean Henderson and Matej Kovar depart.

Wan-Bissaka, Dalot, Todibo, Varane, Martinez, Lindelof, Shaw, and Malacia are the defenders.

The right-back tussle between Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot will resume. The same can be said for Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, but the former’s starting spot is much more secure.

West Ham United are attempting to recruit Harry Maguire for £5 million less than United’s asking price, which might lead to the star’s departure.

According to reports, the Red Devils have picked OGC Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo as his replacement, and the Frenchman will compete with compatriot Raphael Varane for a starting spot.

Lisandro Martinez will continue to be important for Ten Hag besides the right-sided center-back, while Victor Lindelof is a capable cover option.

Casemiro helped transform Manchester United in his first season in England, and he’ll be just as vital in his second.

West Ham want to sign both Maguire and Scott McTominay, and Fred and Donny van de Beek are poised to go in the coming weeks.

It opens the door for Ten Hag to sign another midfielder, with Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat reportedly waiting for an offer.

Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes are slated to partner Casemiro in United’s starting lineup.

After recovering from injury, Kobbie Mainoo is poised for a breakout season, and Christian Eriksen adds depth.

Antony, Sancho, Rashford, Garnacho, Hojlund, and Martial are the forwards.

Antony, who impressed in his first season at Old Trafford, has a huge season ahead of him, while agile forward Jadon Sancho can provide competition on the right.

While Rasmus Hojlund and Anthony Martial are out, Marcus Rashford will likely be forced to play centrally, but the No. 10 hopes to spend the majority of the season on the left.

Alejandro Garnacho has signed a new long-term contract with Manchester United, joining Marcus Rashford.

Mason Greenwood’s future is uncertain after United apparently completed an investigation into his future at Old Trafford.

However, recent footage of the 21-year-old’s rusty shooting shows he won’t be in contention in the near future and may be loaned out for the season.
