According to rumors, Manchester United is actively pursuing a summer transfer for the enigmatic PSG forward Neymar. In light of rumors regarding his transfer intentions, it would suggest that Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is in a strong position to acquire the club from the Glazers.

L’Equipe reports that United and PSG have begun negotiating a potential summer transfer for the 31-year-old.

Neymar is reportedly eager to leave France for a new challenge, and the Ligue 1 heavyweights would desire a permanent transfer.

But according to the source, PSG might agree to a loan offer with or without a buyout option in which United would pay for his wages.

Casemiro, the general of Erik Ten Hag’s midfield, is allegedly in touch with Neymar to persuade him to join United at Old Trafford.

And the Brazilian international’s probable move to United may offer a big clue as to how the club’s takeover saga will play out.

The Sun reported in April that Sheikh Jassim planned to sign Neymar as a marquee player if he won the bidding war to acquire Manchester United.

The investor from Qatar hopes to execute a full takeover this summer to put an end to the Glazers’ unhappy 18-year reign.

Additionally, the apparent negotiations between the Red Devils and PSG may indicate that people are preparing for Sheikh Jassim’s triumph.

Before the start of his second season as manager, Ten Hag wants to bolster the offense, but it’s believed that he’s more interested in a striker than a winger.

Prior to the summer transfer window, United has been heavily associated with players including Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur, Victor Osimhen of Napoli, Goncalo Ramos of Benfica, and Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta.

However, by securing a loan agreement for Neymar and employing Marcus Rashford as his first-choice striker next season, Ten Hag may save the majority of his budget, which is tighter than it was last summer due to FFP limits.

It would make it possible to devote more resources to other areas that require improvement, like his goalkeeper, defense, and center midfield.

Neymar might find joining up with Brazilian friends Casemiro, Fred, and Antony in M16 to be an alluring prospect given that United is only one point away from securing Champions League football for the upcoming season.
