Cristiano Ronaldo started the score, but Bruno Fernandes secured the victory with a free-kick that sent Paul Pogba through on goal.

According to WhoScored, the United duo has formed the Premier League’s most productive assist-to-goalscorer combo this season.

Pogba has four assists for Fernandes’s goals, which is more than Liverpool’s left-back Andrew Robertson has for Diogo Jota (3).

#Brogba is a real bromance.

Fernandes has eight Premier League goals this season and will soon hope to reach double figures, but his goal on Tuesday was his first in six appearances in all competitions.

Having this combo gel between now and the conclusion of the season might mean the difference between finishing in the top four.
