” We’re coming soon” – Man United fans share transfer theory as Antony and Frenkie de Jong react to Van de Beek post

Donny van de Beek returned to Manchester United’s pre-season training on Monday, and he quickly drew attention.

Manchester United fans have concocted transfer speculation after Donny van de Beek received some high-profile attention following his last Instagram post.

After struggling to make an impact at Old Trafford for two years, the Netherlands midfielder will finally get his chance next season. Van de Beek has returned to pre-season training as Carrington’s mentor – and former Ajax manager – Erik ten Hag continues to lay the groundwork.

United has agreed in principle to sign Tyrell Malacia and Frenkie de Jong, while more agreements for Ten Hag are on the table as part of a much-needed rebuild. Antony, an Ajax forward, has been regarded as a major target and might follow the Dutchman to Manchester.

Van de Beek will most likely have to battle with De Jong and current midfielders such as Scott McTominay, Fred, and Bruno Fernandes to establish his mark as a United player. But who else will the ex-Ajax player be able to name a teammate starting next season?

After lacing on his boots at Carrington, the 25-year-old offered an update for his Instagram followers, and the photo afterward left fans wondering who else might arrive this summer. Van van Beek posted numerous photos to Instagram with the caption “Pre-season mood.”

With an agreement in place for his planned €65 million transfer, De Jong, like several other United targets, quickly enjoyed the position. Ajax standout Antony and rumored target Lisandro Martinez were among those who followed suit, sparking a pretty spirited and varied debate on social media.

Of course, considering the athletes’ pre-existing bond, some are dismissing this as a coincidence. However, it is worth noting that Antony, who represented Brazil at the international level, only spent a few months with Van de Beek at Ajax before joining United.
