Ten Hag very Excited – Man Utd agree £73million worth terms in fee and wages to sign player

Manchester United officially announced the signing of Andre Onana from Inter Milan last night, giving Ten Hag his first choice goalkeeper.

Surprisingly, the Cameroonian international has chosen to wear the No.24 shirt at Manchester United. He wore the same jersey number for Ajax and Inter Milan.

As a result, the No. 1 shirt, which was last worn by Spanish veteran David De Gea, remains unfilled.

According to media sources, Manchester United and the Nerazzurri have agreed on a fee and pay package totaling £73 million.

After weeks of negotiating, the 20-time English champions were able to reach an agreement with the Serie A giants for a sum of £47 million (including bonuses).

Onana inked a contract that will pay him roughly £5.2 million every season, totaling £26 million over the next five years.

The African shot-stopper is scheduled to join his teammates in the United States, and according to The Telegraph, he hopes to play in this weekend’s pre-season friendly against Arsenal.

The 27-year-old succeeded under Erik ten Hag at Ajax and won many trophies in the Netherlands; also, he was one of Inter Milan’s finest keepers last season.

Now that he has signed, Manchester United must work as hard as they can to find a new center forward. Keep an eye on this space for the most recent transfer news.
