Ronaldo scored a magnificent hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Saturday, and he is ready to lead the line again just 72 hours later.

Ralf Rangnick, United’s interim manager, says he is unconcerned about Ronaldo’s speedy turnaround and believes the superstar can inspire his squad for the second game in a row.

“I’m not concerned that he hasn’t recovered,” Rangnick remarked.

“So far, he’s always been a person who takes care of himself and his body, and he understands what he’s doing.

“As a result, I’m not concerned.” We’ll see whether he can score three more goals. His total performance was excellent, and we expect more of the same from him tomorrow.

“There was a lot of talk about Cristiano before the Tottenham game, and he demonstrated what kind of professional and player he is, as well as what level he can still play at.”

“With performances like the one he put in against Tottenham, he’s still a very vital player for this team, and if he puts in another performance like that tomorrow, it’ll be excellent for us.”

“However, it’s not just about Cristiano; it’s about the entire squad.” It’s something we shouldn’t do, and it’s something we discussed before the game tomorrow.

“On Saturday, we were the team that wanted to win that game, and our fans played an important role in recognizing how much we wanted to win that game, and tomorrow will be the same.”
