Ralf Rangnick hints he’s made Cristiano Ronaldo decision ahead of Atletico Madrid clash

Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to take on Atletico Madrid and lead Manchester United to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Ronaldo scored a magnificent hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Saturday, and he is ready to lead the line again just 72 hours later.

Ralf Rangnick, United’s interim manager, says he is unconcerned about Ronaldo’s speedy turnaround and believes the superstar can inspire his squad for the second game in a row.

“I’m not concerned that he hasn’t recovered,” Rangnick remarked.

“So far, he’s always been a person who takes care of himself and his body, and he understands what he’s doing.

“As a result, I’m not concerned.” We’ll see whether he can score three more goals. His total performance was excellent, and we expect more of the same from him tomorrow.
