Receiving the Player of the Month award for December, he expressed his contentment, saying, “Everything’s fine, I adapted pretty quickly.”

He highlighted the camaraderie within the team, stating, “My teammates took me under their wing, and I’ve just been happy ever since coming here, training, and playing the games.”

The fans hold a special place in Greenwood’s Getafe experience, with his first goal at the stadium being a standout moment.

He emphasized the significance of fan support, saying, “The best feeling so far is when I scored my first goal here at the stadium, and it meant a lot to me. I heard the fans quite a lot.”

Acknowledging the fans’ dedication, he added, “Also, we had the training day, and a lot of fans came out and watched, so we always appreciate the fans.

They’re like an extra man out there on the pitch when they’re supporting us.”

When asked about Getafe’s chances in the UEFA Conference League, Greenwood remained optimistic, saying, “Yeah, that’s always a possibility.

The coach reminds us of it, and we all have an idea of it, but we have to take it one game at a time. That’s the result we want to achieve.”

Greenwood has been instrumental for Getafe this season, contributing three goals and four assists in 15 La Liga appearances since his summer move.

His performances have played a key role in lifting the club to eighth in La Liga, with aspirations for European football qualification next season.
