Deal Completed – Man Utd chief John Murtough ‘boards flight’ to seal fourth summer signing for Erik ten Hag

According to sources, Manchester United football director John Murtough is traveling to meet Adrien Rabiot’s mother and agent, Veronique, in order to finalize the club’s fourth summer signing. The Red Devils are said to have agreed on a fee of £15 million with Juventus for the Frenchman, and a deal is expected to be completed soon.

However, the final hurdle looks to be reaching personal terms with the player and Veronique Rabiot, a famously difficult negotiator.

 

She has been at the center of several public squabbles, including one with PSG, which moved the midfielder to Juventus in 2019.

 

According to The Telegraph, Murtough is now on his way to secure United’s fourth summer signing after Tyrell Malaca, Lisandro Martinez, and Christian Eriksen.
