Almost all of them have ended with his signature’siu’ celebration, and the Canaries were no exception. However, after scoring the game-winning goal in Manchester United’s 3-2 victory, the 37-year-old added an extra move.

Shortly before their stroll back to their positions, Ronaldo and Portugal teammate Diogo Dalot were observed performing a ski-like action, which caused some misunderstanding as to what it was all about. United, on the other hand, has now revealed the significance of the celebration on their Instagram feed.

Both Ronaldo and Dalot have previously been photographed using the Concept2 SkiErg, a pull-down workout machine. Earlier this month, the former shared a snapshot of himself after a machine workout on his own Instagram account.

United has now put the puzzle together in a post that includes video of both men using the equipment as well as footage from Saturday’s celebration. With his recent hat-trick, Ronaldo now has 30 trebles in his career, both before and after turning 30.

This brings his season total to 21. He is United’s leading scorer this season by a long shot, with fellow countryman Bruno Fernandes in second place with nine goals.
