Dean Henderson’s future at Old Trafford is unknown, and the Red Devils have already moved to sign Altay Bayindir as a replacement.

According to various media sources, Manchester United are close to signing the Turkish international this summer.

According to The Mail, the Old Trafford club is close to completing a £4.25 million deal to sign the 25-year-old.

According to the British publication, Henderson is expected to join Crystal Palace before next week’s transfer deadline, with Bayindir set to take his position.

Last season, the £30,000-a-week star appeared in 40 games in all competitions for Fenerbahce, helping the team keep 14 clean sheets.

He did, however, miss the final two months of the season because of a hip ailment.

United wants to make sure he is entirely fit, so he took tests, and according to a Spanish outlet, AS, he passed the medical check.

Bayindir has made four appearances for Fenerbahce this season, keeping two clean sheets, but he has been on the bench in their last two games, which could indicate that he is poised to go.

He made his senior international debut for Turkey in 2021 and has since played five times for his country.
