Shirt Number Revealed – Man Utd shirt numbers available for Sergio Reguilon ahead of Tottenham transfer

Sergio Reguilon, a Tottenham defender, is close to completing a deal with Manchester United on deadline day and might be ready to pick up his favorite shirt number at Old Trafford.

Sergio Reguilon may be given Manchester United’s number three shirt if he arrives at Old Trafford, but this is dependent on players leaving before the deadline.

The Red Devils are interested in loaning the Spanish defender ahead of the deadline on Friday evening. Tottenham, who loaned him to Atletico Madrid last season, would be happy to let him go.

An agreement has already been reached between the two parties, and it appears that it will only be a matter of time before he officially becomes a Red Devil. Reguilon will have to choose his shirt number once he arrives at Old Trafford, and he has lots of alternatives.

The 26-year-old has worn the number three shirt for Spurs, as well as the numeral during his loan spell at Atletico Madrid. Reguilon, who has six caps for Spain, was also handed the number three shirt for his most recent selection in the national team.

Unfortunately, the number is not currently accessible. Eric Bailly now wears the shirt, although he could give it up if he leaves Manchester United.

The Ivorian is low on the Old Trafford pecking order and has been linked with a permanent departure throughout the summer. It was originally rumored that the Red Devils were considering releasing him on a free transfer.

Also unavailable is one of Reguilon’s most recent shirt numbers. His final season at Real Madrid and loan season with Sevilla earned him the number 23, but the shirt is currently in the possession of Luke Shaw, who does not appear to be moving anytime soon.

Reguilon may opt for a slightly different option at Old Trafford as a result of this. Following Phil Jones’ departure in the summer, the number four shirt is currently available, and the Spaniard may even go for number 13 if he’s not a superstitious type.

Other squad numbers available include 15, 26, and a variety of numerals beginning with 30. The arrival of Reguilon is unlikely to be the only piece of business that the Red Devils want to secure on deadline day.

The Adidas home shirt for Manchester United is the same color as the city’s iconic red rose and has a black collar. The collar is also accented with red and white, giving it a sleek and modern appearance.

They have also reopened negotiations with Fiorentina for Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat. Meanwhile, a move for Reguilon appears to have put a halt to Manchester United’s pursuit of Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella.

United have been linked with a loan move to Old Trafford. United is unlikely to make a move for both players.
