Reflecting on his challenging initiation at Manchester United, Sofyan Amrabat shared his sentiments after the team’s 2-1 triumph over Chelsea on Wednesday.
The midfielder, acquired on a season-long loan from Fiorentina in a last-minute deal during the summer transfer window, described his start at United as ‘difficult.’
The loan agreement involved a €10 million fee paid to Fiorentina, with an option for United to secure a permanent deal for €20 million, plus an additional €5 million in add-ons.
While the 27-year-old has experienced a fluctuating presence in the starting lineup since his arrival, he earned a spot against Chelsea and showcased one of his standout performances in a United jersey.
Speaking to MUTV after the victory, Amrabat acknowledged the challenges of his initial months at the club but emphasized his reluctance to make excuses for the varied nature of his early tenure.
