Tottenham has already begun negotiations with Kane about a new contract, according to Football Insider on Saturday (24 February).

Spurs have already begun talks with Eric Dier, with the goal of finalizing a new contract with the defender so that they can focus only on negotiations with Kane.

Man United is hoping to acquire a new striker this summer and is keeping an eye on Kane’s status in North London, while Bayern Munich is also keeping an eye on his availability.

Man City wanted Kane two summers ago, but Tottenham refused a £100 million approach for their talisman striker, and the Premier League champions instead focused on Erling Haaland.

Kane recently broke the record to become Tottenham’s all-time leading goalscorer, with his goal in the 1-0 win over City bringing his total to 267, one more than Jimmy Greaves’ record.

Kane has 267 goals and 62 assists in 497 games in all competitions.

He has 17 Premier League goals this season for Antonio Conte’s team, closing down on Alan Shearer’s 260 Premier League goals record.

Kane has also had a prolific international career with England, equaling Wayne Rooney’s Three Lions scoring record of 53 goals in only 80 appearances.
