Lautaro Martinez, an Argentine international striker, is apparently being tracked by Manchester United.

The 25-year-old World Cup winner has been in superb form for Inter Milan, and his performances have piqued the Red Devils’ interest.

Manchester United must try to bring in a great attacker to lead the line next season since they have become unduly reliant on Marcus Rashford, who is better suited to a wide role.

Martinez has 23 goals and nine assists in all competitions, and he and the England international might develop a solid partnership next season.

According to CMW, Manchester United is willing to sweeten the deal for the Italian club by giving €50 million in cash in addition to forward Anthony Martial.

Since his big-money move from Monaco, the Frenchman has been largely underwhelming. He was anticipated to develop into a world-class player for Manchester United, but his development has been impeded by ongoing injury issues.

While Martial is still a valuable player, Manchester United should aim higher if they want to close the gap on clubs like Manchester City and compete for major trophies.

Martnez might be a significant upgrade over the Frenchman, and it remains to be seen whether Inter Milan will accept the offer when it is made.

Under new manager Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils have made excellent progress and have already won the English League Cup this season. They have a great group and will be vying for the league title as well as the UEFA Champions League next season.
