David De Gea is the goalkeeper.

During the season, there have been suggestions that United may try to upgrade David De Gea.

While Spain international is still an excellent shot-stopper, he lacks the ability to play out from the back.

Nevertheless, with United negotiating a new contract with De Gea, it appears he will stay.

Of course, Dean Henderson might be given a legitimate opportunity at the No. 1 jersey.

Nevertheless, as he stated earlier in the season, the England international will not want to stay at Old Trafford if he is to play second fiddle.

Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, and Shaw play defense.

Many expected Aaron Wan-Bissaka to depart the club in January after a difficult start to the season.

But, the former Crystal Palace striker has risen through the ranks and appears to be ahead of Diogo Dalot in Ten Hag’s pecking order.

Nobody is going to unseat Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez at center-back anytime soon.

United may, however, enter the transfer market to find a replacement for England international Harry Maguire if he decides to depart.

And, after momentarily losing his spot to Tyrell Malacia in September, Luke Shaw is now a regular at left-back.

Bellingham, Casemiro, and Fernandes play in the midfield.

For years, United’s midfield has been outclassed by its competitors.

But, if they sign Jude Bellingham, they will have one of the best tridents in world football.

The England international is a top target, and with United improving all the time – barring the recent 7-0 hammering at the hands of Liverpool – they have a legitimate chance of landing him.

Casemiro would then accompany the 19-year-old.

This would allow Bruno Fernandes to fill the No. 10 spot.

Forwards: Antony, Kane, and Rashford United currently have a plethora of attacking alternatives, including Alejandro Garnacho, Facundo Pellistri, and Jadon Sancho.

But Antony and Marcus Rashford are normally starting out wide, and that is unlikely to change very soon.

This summer, United know they need a world-class No. 9 to replace Wout Weghorst.

Kane is also Ten Hag’s top transfer target towards the end of the season.

Of course, no agreement will be cheap. Yet, if they receive a cash injection from any potential buyout, money may not be an obstacle.

Sheikh Jassim’s team traveled to Manchester on Thursday to hold negotiations.

These discussions have been described as ‘positive’, despite the Qatari billionaire not being there in person.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe then met with United executives on Friday to discuss a takeover.

Next week, interested parties are expected to launch their next bids for the club.

In April, a final decision should be made.
