A few days ago, Sport1 exclusively disclosed that the Red Devils have shifted their focus towards acquiring the talented forward from Bologna, as reported by the well-known German media outlet.

Zirkzee, the former Bayern Munich striker, is currently valued at £26 million (30 million euros).

Furthermore, Calcio Mercato journalist Eleonora Trotta stated yesterday that Manchester United is actively pursuing Zirkzee, who has a release clause of 40 million euros in his contract.

Trotta highlighted that the Old Trafford club is determined to secure the 22-year-old’s signature, considering his impressive performances for Bologna this season.

The Dutch forward has started 16 games across all competitions for the Serie A side, directly contributing to 12 goals (8 goals and 4 assists).

While Manchester United brought in Rasmus Hojlund during the summer, the Danish forward has struggled to make a significant impact in the Premier League.

He found the net for the first time in the league just last night, in his 15th appearance. With Martial past his prime and potentially facing an exit, there is a pressing need to reinforce the strike force.

Given this context, do you believe Manchester United should make a £26 million bid to secure the services of Joshua Zirkzee?
