Man Utd fans all say same thing after Christian Eriksen scores Denmark stunner

On Thursday, CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN reminded Manchester United fans of his ability against Croatia.

Manchester United fans appear to be focused on a crucial match against Manchester City, judging by their reaction to Christian Eriksen’s spectacular Denmark strike on Thursday. Since joining on a free transfer from Brentford in the summer, the smooth midfielder has been a great hit, and he has shown even more of his class during the international break.

Eriksen was signed by Brentford in January of this year after taking a break after suffering a heart episode during Euro 2020. It was quickly clear that he could still play at the greatest level, and despite the Bees making a generous contract offer to keep him, the allure of Old Trafford proved too strong.

The 30-year-old has started all six Premier League games for United this season, as well as twice in the Europa League, and has two assists. He’s expected to start against Manchester City right after the international break on October 2.

Many Red Devils fans have already planned their perfect approach for the high-stakes match, and Eriksen’s amazing strike on Thursday appears to have given them even more confidence.

In response to the goal’s social media footage, United fan @ChrisSilveste14 wrote: “What a fantastic strike. He’s gotten a fresh lease on life and is thriving. A goal like this against City would be much appreciated. What a player we have on our team.”

Many other Red Devils fans agreed with @officialstyleeb when he said, “Now do this against City.” Meanwhile, @phillysmoker14 tweeted, “Pray for Manchester City.” In theory, United should have their job cut out for them against the Sky Blues, who are currently unbeaten after seven Premier League games under Pep Guardiola.

United, on the other hand, is sixth with four victories and two losses. They do, at least, have momentum, with four straight league triumphs following the two humiliating defeats that marked the start of Erik ten Hag’s time as manager. Because of postponements and the international break, the Manchester derby will be United’s first Premier League game in nearly a month.

Stopping Erling Haaland, who has been on a tear since joining Borussia Dortmund this summer, will also be a priority. The Norwegian is scoring at an incredible pace of once every 52 minutes, and his 11 goals are nearly double that of his nearest rival.

This week, Manchester United icon Paul Scholes dubbed the striker ‘f****** brilliant,’ but believes Kylian Mbappe has more to contribute. “Haaland, don’t get me wrong, Haaland is f***ing wonderful, but he’s just a goalscorer, isn’t he?” he told The Overlap.
