In a recent YouTube video, Fabrizio Romano provided insights into the ongoing speculations surrounding Liverpool’s potential pursuit of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

While rumors have circulated regarding Liverpool’s agreement on personal terms with Osimhen, Romano has clarified that these reports are currently unfounded.

Over the past few weeks, Liverpool has been linked with a surprising move for Osimhen, suggesting that Jurgen Klopp is considering another addition to his striker lineup.

According to earlier reports, internal discussions within Liverpool regarding the Nigerian striker have already taken place.

However, Romano’s latest information suggests otherwise. In his video, he explained, “Some media outlets have reported that Victor Osimhen has already agreed to contract terms with Liverpool.

But from what I’ve been told, Victor Osimhen hasn’t reached any agreements with any club, not even Napoli.”

He continued, “There’s no contract extension in place. Napoli has made a substantial proposal to Osimhen in terms of the contract, offering a significant salary, which would be the highest in Napoli’s history.

However, Osimhen has yet to make a decision or agree with any club.”

Romano emphasized that the reports of an agreement with Liverpool are inaccurate. He acknowledged that Liverpool, along with several other clubs, is closely monitoring the situation regarding various strikers. Still, as of now, nothing has been finalized or decided concerning Osimhen’s future.
