Man United had two goals disallowed against Burnley, and Harry Maguire is upset with the choices of the referee.

Early in the game, Raphael Varane scored a fantastic header, but Mike Dean ruled it out after a VAR check.

According to the club’s official website, Maguire remarked, “I think he’s given it offside [against me].”

“It wasn’t a foul,” he explained, “but he gave it offside, interfering with the game.” I’m not entirely sure.

“I really arrived early for my run since I mis-timed it and was simply trying to get back on track.”

“It did end up being a little bit of a block, but I believe it was Rodriguez who I blocked; I don’t believe he would’ve been heading the ball and effecting Rapha’s goal.”

In the 18th minute, Josh Brownhill scored an own goal, but it was disallowed because the linesman saw a Paul Pogba foul in the build-up.

“I don’t believe that was a foul,” Maguire remarked.

“The lads in there are really dissatisfied,” he said, according to MEN. “We’ve done enough to win the match.”

“You have to be clinical and score the second goal when you create that many chances; we know how vital the second goal is.”

“It’s similar to Friday, when we had a lot of opportunities.” The odds were stacked against us, particularly on the second goal, which was never a foul.”
