Manager Erik ten Hag, who fielded a robust lineup in the previous Cup tie, may opt for some changes this time, considering the upcoming Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers just three days later.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Early Predicted Line-up:

With Andre Onana engaged in African Cup of Nations duty for Cameroon, Altay Bayindir is anticipated to make his debut for the Red Devils, provided Cameroon progresses to the next round.

In defense, Diogo Dalot might get the nod at right-back, while Luke Shaw is expected to return on the opposite flank after recovering from a muscle injury.

Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez could reunite in the heart of the backline, with Martinez impressing in a cameo against Spurs.

Moving to the midfield, Casemiro, recovering from a hamstring injury, could make his return alongside Scott McTominay, while Kobbie Mainoo might be rested in preparation for the Wolves game.

The attacking lineup may remain unchanged, with continuity being a preference for Ten Hag. Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford could continue on the wings, supporting Bruno Fernandes in his preferred number 10 role.

Rasmus Hojlund, in form with three goal contributions in his last two league appearances, is expected to lead the line, while Anthony Martial will be sidelined due to a hip injury.
