While the 21-year-old is yet to secure a regular starting position under manager Erik ten Hag at United, he remains a key figure for his national team.

In the match against Bolivia, Pellistri, starting from the right wing, contributed significantly by providing the assist for Darwin Nunez’s opening goal in the 15th minute.

Throughout the game, he demonstrated his skills with 40 touches, an 88% passing accuracy, and a 100% success rate in dribbles.

Winning four duels and showcasing defensive commitment with two successful tackles, Pellistri’s all-round performance was noteworthy.

Creating two significant chances and delivering three key passes, Pellistri proved his offensive capabilities. Despite receiving acclaim on the international stage, the young talent is yet to gain widespread recognition at Manchester United.

While he recently contributed with a late assist in United’s game against Fulham, it hasn’t translated into consistent playing time.

With a busy schedule ahead, manager Ten Hag may consider utilizing squad depth for rotation, providing Pellistri with opportunities to prove his worth.

Looking ahead, the competition for starting positions, particularly on the wings, remains fierce, with Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford likely to feature prominently.

As Garnacho continues to hold his place in the starting lineup, Pellistri will need to capitalize on any chances he gets to make a compelling case for regular inclusion.
