Marcus Rashford reported at Manchester United’s Carrington training camp on Tuesday morning, putting an end to speculation that he had injured himself.

The England international was not visible in a compilation of training ground photographs and video posted by the club on Monday, raising concerns that he had sustained an injury ahead of the club’s impending Europa League match against Sheriff Tiraspol. After having their Premier League clash with Crystal Palace postponed on Sunday, United will resume their European campaign on Thursday evening.

Rashford, who has three goals in his last four United games, was also left out of the side that lost 1-0 to Real Sociedad on Thursday night. United manager Erik ten Hag has not talked to the media since that game, which means he has not offered any kind of update on the status of his players, as clubs across the country have imposed media blocks in the aftermath of Queen Elizabeth II’s death last Thursday afternoon.

Rashford has established himself as a major element of Manchester United’s recent upturn in fortunes, scoring twice and assisting once in last Sunday’s 3-1 triumph over Arsenal. For the time being, he has established himself as Ten Hag’s first-choice striker, ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, who was given a rare start in the defeat to Sociedad.

United’s scheduled match against Leeds United at Old Trafford on Sunday has also been postponed, which means Ten Hag may be tempted to field his strongest possible lineup against Sheriff. Due to the international break, the Reds will not start their Premier League campaign until October 2.

Donny van de Beek, another Manchester United player, was also seen arriving at Carrington. He has missed the last two games due to injury, therefore his presence at the training site on Tuesday provided hope that he will be available for the trip to Moldova.

In addition, Luke Shaw was sighted back in training on Monday, practicing with the main group for the first time since suffering a minor injury that Ten Hag described as a “little complaint.” He hasn’t played since Brentford’s 4-0 defeat.

Meanwhile, Lisandro Martinez, Antony, and Ronaldo were among the players seen arriving at Carrington on Tuesday. Ten Hag was also seen driving into town.
