Manchester United will kick off their new Premier League season against Wolves next Monday, but they are still active in the transfer market.

According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (news image below), Amrabat and Quarta “will be sold” initially before the Viola make any further moves during the summer transfer window.

According to the Rome-based news agency, the African star will join Manchester United, while the Argentine international may join River Plate.

Amrabat has been considering leaving Fiorentina for quite some time. He informed the club two months ago that he wishes to leave this summer.

No one has yet been able to match the asking price of 30 million euros for the Dutch-born star.

CdS, on the other hand, believes that every day counts and that Man United will make the “decisive” move “at any moment” to complete the transaction.

Amrabat was unquestionably the greatest defensive midfielder at last year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar, and Erik ten Hag has already handled him at Utrecht.
