The England winger’s tumultuous relationship with manager Erik ten Hag led to his exclusion from the team, and there have been rumors linking him to Newcastle, who are now under mega-rich ownership.

Sancho’s time at United since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 has been far from spectacular, with only 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances.

His last appearance for Ten Hag’s squad was at the end of August when they played Nottingham Forest.

It seems that the 13-time Premier League champions are preparing for a future without the young player who was formerly with Manchester City.

According to credible United insider The Muppetiers, the shortlist of potential Sancho replacements includes Yeremy Pino from Villarreal, Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao, and Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge.

United is also keeping a close watch on Serge Gnabry from Bayern Munich and Martin Terrier from Rennes.

United has struggled offensively this season, scoring just nine goals in their first eight Premier League matches. Their lackluster attacking performances have contributed to four Premier League losses and two in the Champions League.

Furthermore, there have been reports that Newcastle is interested in bringing Sancho to St James’ Park.

The club has thrived since its acquisition by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund two years ago, and this season marks their return to the Champions League after a two-decade hiatus.

Managed by Eddie Howe, the team is a strong contender in the Premier League and aspires to secure another top-four finish this season.
