According to the Turkish newspaper Milliyet, Kartal wished Bayindir well in his next endeavor.

According to the newspaper, Bayindir has agreed to join Manchester United as a backup goalkeeper to Andre Onana.

Bayindir will cost United about £6 million, with Fenerbahce agreeing to Bayindir’s desire to leave.

Kartal said that Bayindir had his complete blessing to depart. “Altay is an important player for Fenerbahçe and Turkish football,” he stated.

“In football, these things happen. I’d like to thank Altay for his assistance. He has begun his new adventure; I wish you the best of luck on your voyage. He does an excellent job representing us there.”

Bayindir was seen saying goodbye to fans after Fenerbahce defeated Twente 5-1 in a Europa Conference League qualifier yesterday night.

He went unnoticed as Fred’s new team cruised to a decisive victory.

Bayindir is now scheduled to fly to Manchester to complete his relocation, which is expected to be revealed in the coming days.

He is unlikely to be included in the team for this weekend’s game, but he might be on the bench against Arsenal in a week.

Meanwhile, United are anticipated to loan or sell Dean Henderson in order to raise finances, with Tom Heaton expected to return from injury soon.
