RONALDO MULLING OVER THE EXIT FROM THE UNITED STATES

According to a source, Cristiano Ronaldo is debating whether or not to cut short his return to Manchester United.

Ronaldo, who turned 37 last week, is said to have confided in close pals and said that “he is feeling his age,” according to the Sun.

Of course, the megastar would never confess that the Premier League’s expectations are wearing him down. However, the attacker, who joined United from Juventus in the summer, is seriously considering terminating his two-year deal.

Ralf Rangnick’s team does not include Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 14 goals in 25 outings for United this season.

The Portugal international has yet to score in five appearances this season, and he spent the whole of Tuesday’s 0-0 stalemate with Burnley on the bench.

In his 12 years away, Ronaldo is claimed to be “far from impressed” with how the club has changed on and off the field.

In the title chase, United is 21 points behind Man City.

According to the source, if United fails to secure a top-four spot – they are now a point behind West Ham with a game in hand – “a parting of the ways is increasingly inevitable.”
