Pogba’s claim comes after his brother, Mathias, was arrested in an ongoing extortion probe. When the event occurred, the Juventus guy was on his way to a residence in Chanteloup-en-Brie.

“I was terrified. The two men aimed their rifles at me. Suddenly, while being threatened, I told them that I was going to pay. ‘Shut up and look down,’ they yelled. When the hooded men left, I was told that I had to pay them or else we’d all be in danger “According to Le Monde, he told police.

Pogba filed his accusation in July, and five individuals were arrested two months later.

Mathias is one of five people detained on charges ranging from extortion in a criminal gang to involvement in a criminal association with the intent to commit a crime. There is no evidence that Mathias was one of the gunmen.

According to La Parisien, the Frenchman has been placed under police protection in Italy while he relaxes.
