Premier League’s September Player of the Month nominees – three Manchester United star makes the cut

The Premier League has unveiled the nominees for September Player of the Month, with one Manchester United player among them.


Manchester City striker Erling Haaland was named August Player of the Month after an amazing start to the season. He leads the league in goal-scoring with 11 goals so far this season.


With September’s games cut short owing to the international calendar, the Premier League has announced their nominees for the season’s second Player of the Month award, as shown in the tweet below.


Marcus Rashford of Manchester United has been nominated after scoring twice in a 3-1 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford. This season, the England international has found his form again under Erik ten Hag.


Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City has also been nominated. In his last two games, De Bruyne has three assists.


The remaining nominees are Alex Iwobi, Phillip Billing, Jacob Ramsey, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
