The club has already failed with two bids for the 27-year-old (€45 million and €50 million with add-ons), but their third offer could be enough to complete the deal.

According to Sport Mediaset (via FC Inter News), the clubs are close to finalizing the arrangements. The set fee with future variables is still being discussed.

According to the Italian source, United intends to get close to Inter’s €60 million valuation, and a transfer agreement might be reached within the next 24 hours.

United is getting closer to obtaining Onana’s signature.

United’s potential number one has been identified as Onana. Erik ten Hag managed him at Ajax for more than four seasons, and a reunion is possible shortly.

The Nerazzurri have been tough on the valuation in recent weeks, but there is hope that a deal will be reached due to their hurry.

The Serie A heavyweights begin pre-season training on Thursday morning, and they are eager to bring in a new goalkeeper as soon as possible.

Following Onana’s departure, the team intends to sign Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer. They are also interested in Anatoliy Trubin of Shakhtar. He may be hired later this summer.

United just agreed to satisfy Onana’s pay expectations of €7 million per year, and we wouldn’t be surprised if the teams reach an agreement on the price before tomorrow.
