The 16-year-old forward is currently one of the most sought-after teenage players in the world, with United, Real Madrid, and Barcelona all showing interest.

His representative, Frederico Pena, stated earlier this week that discussing where his talented client would end up playing was premature. Indeed, he will not be allowed to leave Brazil until he turns 18 years old.

“‘The international break is usually the same, there’s no news, and the froth begins,” Pena told ESPN. “Endrick is wanted by every club in the globe.”

“Every single one of them!” Which is the most common occurrence in the world. With his talent and young…

“However, none of them have made a purchase offer to us or Palmeiras.” He is required to play for Palmeiras till the age of 18. As a result, he’ll be at Palmeiras for at least another 22 months.

Endrick’s clubs are waiting.

“Endrick’s contract with Palmeiras expires in July 2025… He will be able to leave Brazil only in July 2024.

“No player under the age of 18 is permitted to move overseas.” He can be bought and sold, but not transferred.

“In other words, a club comes here and signs a contract with Palmeiras. But he is unable to escape. He has to stay at Palmeiras despite the fact that he has already been sold.”

Regardless of such remarks, clubs are still rushing up to gain a jump on a contract for the player. And, whoever wins the race, Jesus promises them a generational skill.

“I saw Endrick when I was working with Palmeiras for a few days… and I said: wow, crack, phenomenon!” he told ESPN Brazil. He’s only 15 years old, but he has professional-level skills.

“I’m rooting for Endrick because he’s a great player.” He’ll need some time.”

United is still looking for outstanding young talent.

In recent seasons, United has made a habit of attempting to sign some of the greatest young talents from across the world.

However, it hasn’t exactly worked out for them so far, with the club needing to spend over £200 million on new manager Erik ten Hag’s squad over the summer.

Facundo Pellistri and Amad Diallo are two examples of players who have recently come with high hopes.

Both have, however, been loaned out, with Diallo currently at Sunderland. Indeed, between the two of them, they have made nine first-team appearances, with Diallo scoring all of them.

Given Endrick’s youth, it appears that a wait-and-see attitude is in order.

However, Red Devils executives will continue to monitor his progress to ensure that they remain in contention.

United return to Premier League action on Sunday when they face City in the Manchester derby.

Ten Hag’s men will close the gap on their bitter rivals in the league if they win at The Etihad.
