As Liverpool makes a strong start to the season, currently trailing Premier League leaders Arsenal by two points, Klopp aims to bring trophies back to Anfield after a disappointing campaign last term.

On the Gary Neville Podcast, when discussing the title race, Neville emphasized the significance of Klopp, stating, “Liverpool I’m not sure about, but then they’ve got Klopp, so I think that’s a factor because he can win and he’s proven he can win.”

In the latest episode of Stick to Football, Neville shared that he would have enjoyed playing under Klopp during his playing days, choosing Klopp over Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

He highlighted Klopp’s football style, personality, and character, expressing a preference for the speed of play.

Jamie Carragher, a Liverpool legend, and Arsenal hero Ian Wright concurred with Neville’s choice. The only dissenting voice came from former Manchester United captain Roy Keane, envisioning himself in a role similar to Rodri in Guardiola’s side.
