After qualifying for a Champions League final, Liverpool’s next task arrives soon, with six games remaining in the season and Manchester City not playing until Sunday.

Simply put, this, like any other game, is a must-win. These are the squads that some of Liverpool.com’s writers would put together.

Jordan Henderson replaces Matt Addison.

Certainties include Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, and Andy Robertson. Kostas Tsimikas will play one more game before the end of the season, but I believe it will be against Aston Villa rather than Tottenham. For me, Jol Matip comes in for this one, with Ibrahima Konaté moving to the bench, but it could well go anyway.

Jordan Henderson will return to midfield, which means Naby Keta will be replaced. Thiago and Fabinho will be needed to prevent Harry Kane from feeding Son Heung-min as much as possible. Keta can come off the bench and will almost certainly start against Villa Park.

Mohamed Salah will start at the front. Roberto Firmino will not be risked, but this still leaves a quandary. I’m going with Sadio Mané in the center and Luis Daz on the left. Diogo Jota, like Keta, will come off the bench before making his debut against Steven Gerrard’s team on Tuesday night.

Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago; Salah, Mané, Daz;
