First Summer Target Revealed – Real Madrid midfielder wanted by Manchester United in €130 million move

According to the Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Manchester United is interested in Eduardo Camavinga. The Red Devils are willing to pay €130 million for the Real Madrid midfielder. But, Los Blancos will not consider any bids for the French midfielder during the summer transfer window.

Eduardo Camavinga started his junior career with Drapeau-Fougeres before moving on to Stade Rennais in 2013. He then worked his way up the ranks at the French club before making his first-team debut as a teenage prodigy. And the 20-year-old was invariably a market hot property before Real Madrid signed him up in August 2021.

Since then, despite not being a regular for Real Madrid, the French midfielder has made significant progress. In 79 Real Madrid appearances, the teenager has two goals and three assists. Camavinga’s status is still strong, with Manchester United apparently interested in signing him.

Despite signing two midfielders last summer, Manchester United will look for a midfield reinforcement. Christian Eriksen, on the other hand, is on the wrong side of 30 and lacks the stamina for a full season. Furthermore, Scott McTominay’s future is questionable, and Marcel Sabitzer will return to Bayern Munich at the end of the season.

According to recent rumours, Manchester United may attempt to sign Sabitzer on a permanent basis this summer. Yet, after last year’s Frenkie de Jong fiasco, the Red Devils are keeping their options open. De Jong, surprisingly, is still a target for Manchester United. Eduardo Camavinga, a Real Madrid midfielder, has surfaced as another option.

Several Premier League clubs were interested in signing the 20-year-old during the January transfer window. But, Real Madrid did not consider any bids for the kid this winter. Manchester United will now attempt to test Real Madrid’s commitment with a €130 million proposal this summer.

€130 million is a significant sum that may change any club’s head. But, Camavinga will not leave Real Madrid during the summer transfer window. The Frenchman has just been at the Santiago Bernabeu for two years and has no intention of leaving. As a result, Manchester United will need to find a replacement for the kid this summer.
