Fabrizio – Man Utd ‘would be ready’ to agree deal for ‘world-class’ attacker in January – report

Muller, a stalwart at Bayern with nearly 700 appearances and seven-goal contributions this season, is yet to finalize a decision on contract renewal.

Despite being an integral part of Bayern for 16 years, speculation arises that Muller might explore options elsewhere, with United among the interested parties.

However, it’s crucial to note that Muller’s legendary status at Bayern and the club’s desire to negotiate a new deal, as stated by sporting director Christoph Freund, indicate that the speculations might be driven by agents to hasten the renewal process.

While United has been linked with Muller in the past, it seems unlikely for them to pursue a player in the later stages of his career, especially one who might demand a substantial weekly salary.

With Sir Jim Ratcliffe questioning United’s recent purchase of Casemiro, a move for Muller, falling in the same category, appears improbable.
