‘Doors closed’ – Club ‘100% rule out’ deal to sign Manchester United player after weeks of negotiation

Mundo adds that once a contract with Dynamo Moscow is reached, the Spanish club’s ‘doors will be closed’ to the 26-year-old. Erik ten Hag’s side presented a ‘challenge’ for Real Sociedad in signing the former Ajax player.

The San Sebastian club intended to loan Van de Beek with the option to buy, however the Red Devils insisted on an obligatory purchase option worth more than €12 million.

Furthermore, Zakharyan’s remuneration would be far smaller than that of the Dutchman.
