According to a report in La Gazzetta Dello Sport today (news image given below), the Red Devils are attempting to entice the former Stoke City player, but Bologna is standing firm.

According to the Italian media, United has made an 8 million euro bid to the Serie A club.

Furthermore, Manchester United is ready to accept a three-year contract worth three million euros (£50,000 per week) with the 33-year-old striker.

According to GDS, Arnautovic is presently making roughly 2.7 million euros per year, the highest pay in Bologna history. So United’s contract offer of £50,000 per week would have piqued the player’s interest.

The Rossoblu are adamant that the veteran will not be sold, but that could change.

Last season, the 102-cap international appeared in 35 games in all competitions for the Italian side, scoring 15 times.

Arnautovic is a seasoned Premier League performer. During his time in England, he made an impression for both the Potters and West Ham United, although he was never a world-class player.

Ten Hag will be 34 in April 2023, and he does not require a quick cure. The Dutch manager requires a young, talented striker to eventually replace Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United was unable to entice Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez. Who, in your opinion, should they sign to bolster the strike force this summer? Is Marko Arnautovic up to the task?
