Manchester United’s pre-season performers have included Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford. Both have struggled in recent years, so Erik ten Hag may wish to bolster his front line.

Manchester United, who are now interested in Wolves’ Neto, would benefit from adding a player who can play numerous places in attack.

According to Fichajes, Manchester United is eyeing the Wolves striker as a possible replacement for Ajax winger Antony.

Manchester United is considering alternative options since Ajax is demanding an exorbitant amount for the Brazilian international.

Neto can play in the center as well as on the wing, and with the Premier League adopting five substitutes this season, enhanced squad depth will be critical.

United also lost Edinson Cavani this summer, and Neto, who has been used as a striker for Wolves at times, maybe a helpful addition.

On international duty, the Portuguese international will have played with the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo, so he should be able to adjust relatively quickly at Old Trafford.
