Gabby Agbonlahor believes Casemiro should be detained following his red card against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Erik ten Hag’s men were cruising after goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford put the Red Devils up 2-0.

However, things turned ugly in the 70th minute as Palace player Jeffrey Schlupp slammed United winger Antony into the advertising board.

“You saw Casemiro cross the line,” the Dutchman added.

“However, I’m dissatisfied with the inconsistency of the referees. Not only in this game but also [against] Palace on the road. They elbowed Martinez and then Eriksen last week.

“A lot of other players crossed the line, including some Crystal Palace players. VAR did not intervene in their case.”

United’s next game is against Leeds United at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
