According to Spanish media sources, Manchester United is prepared to secure an £83.6 million double signing from the Catalan giants this summer.

According to Sport (news image provided below), Barcelona wants 80 million euros (£66.9 million) for De Jong, and United are willing to fulfill the asking price to complete the signing.

However, the 20-time English champions are now up against Chelsea, who have officially stepped in to sign the Dutch midfielder.

According to reports, Thomas Tuchel is pressing for the signing. Barcelona is also interested in luring Alonso and Azpilicueta away from Chelsea but has set a separate fee of £66.9 million for De Jong.

Concerning Dest, we reported last month that Ten Hag does not trust Wan-Bissaka and Dalot and has ordered United to secure the signing of the American fullback from Barcelona.

Sport reported today that Manchester United is willing to pay a fee to capture the £16.7 million (20 million euros) versatile talent, who can play on either side of the field.

According to the Catalan newspaper, Barcelona would seek to complete the transfer of the former Ajax player in order to boost the club’s finances.

We’ll keep you updated on how the transfer sagas play out in the coming weeks.
