Tyrell Malacia has agreed personal terms with Manchester United ahead of a possible move from Feyenoord to Old Trafford.

The 22-year-old is believed to have signed to a four-year contract with an option for a fifth year. However, the agreement has not yet been signed.

Malacia may have a medical examination over the weekend.

The Athletic claimed on Tuesday that United had reached a deal with the Dutch club worth up to €17 million, with a base cost of €15 million plus a sell-on clause.

Lyon had been in talks with Feyenoord about Malacia and had agreed to a sum of €13 million upfront, plus €2 million in add-ons. Lyon had intended to complete the transaction on Tuesday, but United outbid them.

Malacia, 22, appeared in 50 games in all competitions last season, helping his team reach the UEFA Conference League final in May.

The 22-year-old made his international debut for the Netherlands last September and has five caps to his name.

United are currently attempting to strike a deal with Ajax in order to sign Lisandro Martinez, and it is believed that they have established themselves as favorites to get the Argentine despite competition from Arsenal.

United and Ajax are in advanced talks, with the player reportedly eager to reunite with his former coach, Erik ten Hag.

Meanwhile, United is still trying to get Frenkie de Jong, while Christian Eriksen remains a target.
